About the Author:

S. Swaminathan holds a Master’s in literature and history. After a 16-year stint with ‘Dinamani’, the popular Tamil daily, he joined BBC and went on to produce several interesting programmes. Currently living in London, he teaches at the London University and is a consultant to the Newham Hospital. He has authored several books and is known for his sound knowledge of Sanskrit and French besides of course, Tamil and English.
